There was a separate pen for monkeys. A 'Walk-in Aviary' in the zoo was constructed in the theatre in 1978. The aviary houses different types of catcalls: original, African, and Australian parrots; ducks, rabbits, etc. All the cats and creatures are kept in their natural terrain.

Nehru Park 

Developed specifically for children, this demesne is notorious for its cradles, ponds, etc. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Jodhpur, Nehru Park is a well-maintained and beautiful theater. It's spread over an area of 14 acres, and it's a children’s demesne. This stunning demesne has been festooned with swings, Bakhat Sagar pond, colorful trees, and shops, as well as flowerbeds. Shri Mohan Lal Sukhadia, the then Chief Minister, inaugurated Nehru Park on September 7th, 1966.
